Not a bug in 11.1 but I've asked for this before with no result so I'm starting a new thread.

I can't be the only one who has run out of the available "autocomplete" entries in Artists and Albums. My typing is so poor that I've now got multiple (bad) entries for the same artist in several cases.

Increasing the number of possible entries which would "autocomplete" would solve this problem.

Don't know if this is convenient for your tagging workflow, but have you tried using a view scheme with "tagging mode"? You don't need to write a single word if the artist already exists... just tick the check-box.

Yes Deivit I've tried that - but as I'm usually tagging a series of single artist tracks rather than a bunch by the same artist it doesn't really make things any quicker - even with my typing!
