Has anyone else noticed that the past handful of builds have been VERY slow to start-up?  I have a few reasonably powerful machines, and it still takes quite a while for MC launch... Enough so that my wife often double-clicks on the icon 2-3 more times while waiting for it to launch (and, while she certainly could be more patient than she is, it isn't out of control).

Just for giggles, here are my primary machine's relevant stats:

I did just roll the HTPC back to only 1GB of RAM (I'm waiting for a delivery from newegg to correct that), so it's somewhat lacking there but still...

Try disabling any interface plugins. (servers and 3rd party)

Let us know if it makes a difference.

I don't really have any.  The only plugin I use is G-Force.... I could try uninstalling that if it'd make a difference, but I've had that all along.

You can use logging to see if there's one thing taking a long time.

Memory card readers have caused problems in the past with the Windows WMDM system that MC uses.  Try unplugging devices.
