i was trying to create a new playlist to import to my friend's portable media player in media center, when i add the songs it includes all my mp3 music files from the 'audio' section as well as my friend's recently added new files. i don't want media center to do this  i just want to add a selected amount of mp3 files that freshly ripped from a CD, how can i stop media center adding my mp3 files to the new created playlist?

bump, i can't belive no one has experienced this? this is a really annoying problem i looked through all the options in media center to try to stop it but nothing.

Check the settings for Handhelds for that device and turn off synch.

i will have to try it later becasue my friend has took his mp3 player when he went out. but thanks for the quick reply.

edit: also when i get the chance to do this will i be able to just drag and drop the mp3 files onto the media player?
