Other software?

Reboot.

Reinstall.

Drives can be a problem too.  They do wear out.

Only one thing changed; a big one.  I downloaded Windows SPI.  Did reboot, didn't reinstall.
Thanks for the quick response.

Can't burn 79 minute playlists? Continuation of KEY: 5ASC:63ASCQ:0 error
« Reply #4 on: September 19, 2002, 10:30:27 am »

I got the thing burning again.  The content I was burning was 79.5 minutes long and MJ was set for 80 minutes, and the burn failed with the KEY: 5ASC:63ASCQ:0 error message When I removed a file, reducing the content to 76 minutes it burned fine.  I selected another play list that was also over 79 minutes and had the same no-burn problem.  I removed a file on that one and it burned fine.
So: do others have this problem?  Is there a limit below 80 minutes to be aware of?

Apparently there's a problem with MJ calculating capacity when using the generic driver for burning audio. I'll do some more testing and make the required changes.

Thanks for reporting your results.
