Hi all,

(first post!) and I've looked through the FAQ and posts but can't quite see what I need so here goes..

Using JRiver Media centre, I've got all my music in folders by artist inside my music.  I've also got playlists and track ratings, etc.  Also have a direcory for cover art.

I want to move the whole thing to a new PC.  I see that you can use library tools and export, but this seems to put all the music files in one directory, but I want to keep the file structure I have.

Any pointers on the best way to move the whole lot to a new pc please.....

I think you want to use backup library and then move your files keeping them in the same structure.

After MC11 is installed on your new machine, tranfser over your library backup file to a place you can find it and then do restore library, everything should be as you had it before.

Not sure this is 100% correct so if anyone else can add anything it would be welcomed.
