I asked about this last fall.  Can you PLEASE put a feature that will allow a single click switch of zone?

As in, give me a place on the screen, either as a button on the toolbar or some other optional widget, that'll let me switching to the next zone?

Using MC11 on a touchscreen is seriously hampered without it.

bump, single-click way to toggle zones. 

Touchscreen use is really hampered by not having a way to switch between multiple zones.  There's no such thing as a 'right-click' on a touchscreen so droppng down a menu is of little use.  Really, the simplest way ought to be to have toolbar buttons.  That way we could drop our own into the toolbar.  One for the current Ctrl-T action (toggle zone) and potentially two others for 'next' and 'previous' zones.  Having buttons for direct-selection zones would be helpful but I realize it might be a complicated UI hassle to configure.

Ideally, there should never be a context-sensitive menu option that's not accessible from the regular menu. The right click is only meant to consolidate the most common commands that are useable by the right-clicked item into one easy space, not be a replacement for the command being accessible elsewhere.

What are you using for the Touch Screen interface.  I think that would be wonderful to be able to use touchscreen on a monitor setting above your stereo equipment in the media room. 
Please let me know how you are using the application.

I don't use anything special for the touchscreen.  It's just the mouse-compatible driver that comes with it.  I think mine's an ELO-based setup.  Some drivers work better than others. 

MC11 works well enough if you're reasonably precise in pointing.  Some things don't work well if you need very fine grained pointing.  But for simple stuff it works great.  I find theatre view next to worthless so I just use the regular main view.

What's singularly aggravating is not being able to use a single left-click to change the zone.

just a thought, as a small solution for the time being. i dont know if you have some space left beside the mc screen. but you could ofcourse make some bat files to change the zone, and place them beside mc. or even better, in the task bar. you can make as much as you have zones.

I'd prefer not to waste all that extra screen resolution on the taskbar.   Something simple inside of MC, like the already existing Toolbars at the top or bottom, would work quite nicely.
