Lyric Editor Oddity
« on: August 15, 2006, 07:55:33 am »

There's an irregularity in lyric editor that I've just found - stupidity on my part, but I thought I'd let you know

Here's what I did and the result

Go to playing now
Clear playing now
Drag an album of mp3's into playing now
Fill in the dates/genre etc
Go to KingSparta's lyric finder and find the lyrics
Go to lyric editor
Select playing now
.. no file
Click refresh
..still no files
Go back to playing now to make sure I havn't gone crazy overnight
Yeah they're all there alright
Back to lyric editor
..still no files

Think.....
Ah I haven't imported them into the library yet, I'll try that!!!

Import them
Back to the lyric editor
Refresh
Yes! Now they appear

Normally I import the files first, but for these I forgot
It's not a major problem, but thought I should let you know

Maybe put a message in the file list on the lines of 'No imported files found' to help us idiots  ;D

ps

A feature request
Would it be possible to have an option to pick the program used for web browsing when looking up lyrics?
For some reason lyrics editor always uses internet explorer even though firefox is set as my default
A lot of those lyrics site are just nasty 'install my spyware' traps and firefox ignores all that nasty stuff
(although I haven't found a way to stop it playing embedded audio yet  :-\ )
