My hard drive recently failed, but first gave me a warning that it would be happening soon. I quickly began backing things up (something I had no real experience with), and then had a new hard drive put in. When I tried to restore the license, I clicked the link to have my registration code emailed to me, but it says it can not find my email address. I've had the same email for way longer than I've had MJ, and there's no way I would've registered with a different email. So, after that, I thought maybe I would have that .rrg file that is supposed to be used for versions before version 8 (since the first version I ever had was 7). I couldn't find it though.
So, I guess this means I have no choice but to pay $20 for MJ again if I want to use it, right? I am currently using the free trial, but that will be expiring in about six days. I can't even afford to spend $20 right now, and I'm afraid I'm gonna lose all the painstaking organization I've done in getting MJ and my music just how I like it all to be. Am I right? If I don't pay before the trial expires what will happen? Does anyone know how I can get this thing to work without making me pay again? I love the Media Jukebox program, but this is frustrating.
I hope this all made sense, I'm not real good at putting my thoughts into text sometimes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
