Has the bug been fixed in version 8 re: not reading cd text?

How about the bug that it wont write it too? :(
It used to be able to if I disabled the checkbox to use generic driver now this seems to be greyed out in every version, how come??

Yes the bug fix will be in the next release.

Nila:
If you can't disable the generic driver, there is either an ASPI problem or our internal Goldenhawk driver doesn't support your drive .(Supported Drives for CD-Text).
There's also a small possibility of a registry problem which could be fixed by uninstalling MJ (have it remove registry entries) and reinstalling.
We're currently building our own low-level burning engine which will support cd-text and won't have the 2 second gaps of the current generic driver. Send me an email if you're interested in alpha testing it.
