Hello,

I'm wondering if a track's rating is stored in its ID3 tags. If so, does this mean that MJ's ratings will hold if I move my mp3s to a mac using iTunes 3 on OSX? I don't currently have a mac running said system which is why I'm asking and not trying.

Yes sort of

it is stored in a tag J river created, it is in the area of the other ID3v2 tags.

Not all (if any) will see this as a valid ID3v2 tag since it is not an Offical Id3v2 tag.

as long as the mp3 file is not edited it will be fine, if it is, it may or may not survive the edit.
