OT: Pictures from our trip to Provence, France
« on: September 16, 2002, 02:55:07 pm »

Hi - My wife and I are back from our trip to Provence in Southern France. We loved the Luberon, the villages, markets, restaurants and also the people who were helpful, understanding of our lack of French and a real pleasure to spend time with.

Pictures are here http://www.birada.com/france2002.htm

Hi John,

Welcome back.
Glad to here you had a good time in Provence.
Unfortunately some of the places you visited (pont du Gard) have
been serioulsy damaged last week as a result of heavy rains and
flood.

Merci pour les photos!

Have a nice day.

Cmagic - yes. The floods were terrible - luckily for us we left the region and headed to Cap Ferrat on the morning the rains started. We watched TV pictures of the floods - the loss of life and property is terrible.
