Control from Girder
« on: June 30, 2006, 01:16:22 am »

I thought I'd install V12 on my HTPC running live in my lounge as this will test things that are used on a regular basis and in theater view.

I don't seem to be able to control MC12 from girder using sendmessage, have the codes changed for V12?

The files in the data/extra's directory seems the same as V11, but play/pause, stop etc don't seem to work.

Girder is sending the message, but MC12 doesn't repond.

Oh BTW love the folder monitor, especially since it detects deletions as well - thanks for this.

The messages are the same.

Make sure Girder is finding the MC window.

Or use command line commands routed to MC12.exe.

Ah the .exe is "Media Center 12.exe" not "Media Center.exe", this is probably the problem.

Is this so MC11 and MC12 can run together or can I rename it to "Media Center.exe" and still have MC11 on the same machine?
