Can we please have the old thumbs back for panes views? (at least for image view schemes)

My work based image viewschemes have thumbnail text specifically chosen to complement the view scheme. After a short time working on images today,  some major irritations became apparent:

• The constant resizing as the mouse rolls over each image... Play? redundant. tag? hellooo, I'm already tagging!
• If the mouse happens to rest over my immensly informative thumbnail text, MC replaces it with really helpful information such as "1 File" 
• where's the tooltip gone? It came back. thank you.

If you are going to have the play button on the fade in, how about adding the 'files' option to view the files for album thumbnails?

I still find trying to tag images with thumbnails shrinking and expanding and text rotating on me when I'm trying to read it gets quite tiresome, quite quickly. I wish it wouldn't do that.

I agree, this is not needed for image files.

It would be great to be able to have "Five stars" field as a caption under each thumbnail though!!

4. Changed: Thumbnail text only animates for thumbnails for a group of files. (not individual images or songs)

Most excellent. Thank you for this. The rotating text was the biggest of the two issues, the 'play | tag' fade-in I'll learn to live with.
