Burn DRM-files to DVD or CD-Image
« on: July 24, 2006, 02:21:32 am »

Hi

I downloaded an audiobook from audible (aa-format) and imported it into Mediacenter. The file plays fine. Since the first of the three-part-download alone would require 6 CDs to be burnt upon, I tought, it would be clever to burn it to DVD. That's not possible, unfortunately.
My questions:
- any idea, how to achieve that?
- is there a possibility to add something like a "virtual" CD-Burner to MC? What I mean is: create iso-images, that I later on I could mount as virtual CDs? That way, I could at least "convert" the audiobooks to a file rather than burn them to CD.
- the audiobook is compressed to 32KBps, burning them to CD wastes a lot of space (converting to 44.1/16...). Any way to keep that compression and still get a playable data-CD?

Thanks for the help
