Itrip in Mediacenter
« on: August 05, 2006, 07:04:56 am »

I have an I trip (transfering music through FM signal) for my Ipod and want to have it working
without installing Itunes (sorry for this swearword).  The CD keeps asking which musicsystem I use but mdia center is not one of them.

Has anybody expericence getting the i trip working  in combination with Media center?

thx

Do you have the 'old' or the 'new' iTrip?

The old iTrip relied on speical tracks to change the radio station.
The new iTrip uses a dial on the device itself.

With the new iTrip you need nothing on your PC.

With the old iTrip (to the best of my memory), you just need the tracks synced to the iPod.  Don't need iTunes installed, you just need to add the tracks to your music library and sync them across.  Don't install the software, just copy the tracks to your HD.

It worked,

I have an old I-trip and just imported the frequencies into a playlist.
It was great to have my music in the rented car on our holiday.

thx for the help
