Using an Image view and sliding the Thumbnail slider bigger and smaller, some subset of images does not get bigger than a certain size.  So some of them will get bigger, but some will not.

By design, thumbs won't be shown larger than the source image.  Could this be the issue?

No,  I thought of that too.  That's why in my screen shot I picked some from the same series that had not been cropped.  And It happens in different size images and in images from different cameras and from different disk drive locations.  I was definitely looking for a pattern and have not found one.

Matt,  what is the field "Thumbnail Info"?

In the ones with the problem (after only a quick look) , have lower numbers like 2952274  (7 digits) and the ones that work have numbers like 67984055  (8 digits).  Is that just a file name/pointer or some thing?

That is definitely the pattern -- probably the lower numbers were generated with an older version of MC.  Is there any way to SELECTIVELY rebuild thumbnails?

I think the best bet would be to erase all the thumbs. (Options > Tree & View)
