File Import keeps skipping files?
« on: September 11, 2006, 01:37:18 pm »

I'm having a hard time with FILE IMPORT skipping files ... doesnt matter the type (audio, video, image).

I have a very simple import scheme (INCLUDE D:, EXCLUDE D:\EXCLUDES)   D:  is set to import ALL file types.

Any ideas as to why the files are not importing?  I AM able to import them by selecting them and choosing IMPORT from a context menu though ...

Could they be getting skipped as "previously deleted files"?  You can change this option on a per-folder basis in Options > Library. (at the bottom of the dialog when advanced options are showing)

Already thought of that, but unless it miraculously THINKS it already imported these new files, its now working as expected.   I have UNCHECKED both previously imported and special files cboxes to double check already ...

Are the correct file types selected for the folder?

If you do "Check Folders Now..." and look at the full report, does it have any clues?
