Video - changing brightness/contrast results in massive color shift.

Using an nVidia 6800 series card with the latest 'stable' drivers (91.47), had the problem with 91.3x and upgraded the driver just to see if that was the cause.  If I go in to video options and change brightness or contrast I get a massive color shift (red becomes purple, etc).   When i go back to the default settings everything looks ok again.  Don't have the same issue doing these changes with WMP10.  Can anyone confirm/deny that this happens with other video cards (or even with other 6800s)?
