This is the same problem I've been having with any video file since I started using MC12

Also, it seems that with this build MC crashes every time I try to play a video file.  The first three or so seconds play and then it crashes.  This was not as big of a problem in previous builds.

What format of file?

Are you using Directshow filters?

Did you try rebooting?

MC does not hide to full screen mode playing any cideo format; avi, DVD (.vob), etc.

MC crashed every time while playing .avi files.  I do use directshow filters.  And restarting does not seem to help.

That's not normal.  Mouse driver?

Sorry...I do use DirectShow filters.  But by changing the MC playback engine, and unchecking the option to use WMP engine, the problems seems to be fixed.  So maybe the error lies there.

As far as my mouse driver does, I use a generic Microsoft USB mouse.  The drivers then are native to XP.
