Display View Fade Request

Just got MC 12 beta and loving it and the new GUI!

One GUI feature would awesome: have the display window fade out rather than just abruptly go away when idle. (and vice versa when coming back from idle).

This would resemble such GUI's as Microsoft's Media Center and refine the new look.
