Library corruption?
« on: October 31, 2006, 07:30:12 am »

I am starting to notice some small corruption type things: lots of duplicate songs (multiple library entries pointing to the same song), and sometimes individual songs disappearing from the library (with the original file intact). Anyone else noticed this?

Also, is there is an easy way to remove all duplicate songs from the library?

definitely not for me...

You may use the smartlist wich can be found here:
Playlists -> Smartlists -> Audio -- Task -- possible duplicates - filename
or make smartlist/do a search to find just files you mentioned here:
duplicate songs (multiple library entries pointing to the same song)
by creating a new library with syntax:
~dup=[filename (name)]

It helps to find the dulicates. I know, it's just the half way. You have to delete the library entries on your own  ;)
