I believe it's a multiplexer as well as a switcher...

I sometimes wonder why I still keep them in storage, its not like I have played a cd from storage in the last 3 years.

(Maybe Ill donate them to the local public library)

You can't see that he's wearing a live PC monitor in the photo.  It's from: http://www.pixman.com/

I'm back from CES now.  A day at the show is more than enough.  My head is spinning!

I don't know why, but I really like these players from mobiBLU, a Korean manufacturer.  I bought the one on the bottom.  It's about the size of a credit card and about as thick as 4 or 5 credit cards in a stack.  It's a 2GB player, costing around $120.

The Cubes Are Cute, But I Would Think They Would Hurt In Your Pocket.

I think I would have gotten the same one.

What Is This thing?

An HDMI multiplexor.  HDMI cables carry High Definition video and audio and a control channel.  I think it's the way video will be moved around the house in the future.

This device connects up to 3 DVD or BluRay or HD players to up to 8 TV's.

That sign says:

Lost: 1 laptop    Also lost: 52,756 MP3s

I guess I have about 3/5 of that amount of audio CDs in a storage room. It is almost impossible to find a certain CD from the storage boxes.

Did not see the sign, good eyes (I enlarged it, and it sure does)

Just the sight of the CDs made my jaw drop, and the rest was history.

Probably because if you keep and continue to play the music files if you don't own the CD's you will be a pirate... :D
