any way to save audio analysis?
« on: November 14, 2006, 07:26:13 am »

Once an audio analysis done (70.000 files !), I would like it to be kept for next generation PC. I also had to do this on my second PC. Isn't there a way to save and transmit?

Audio analysis data is stored in the Library database. Just copy the Library Backup zip file, (Local Disc C>Docs and Settings>Administrator>Application Data (turn on hidden files)>JRiver>Media Center xx>Library Backups), to the new PC and restore library.

MC Replay Gain and Audio Analysis are designed to work during playback without modifying the actual media files and therefore will only work when used with JRiver's Media Center.

If you want to actually change your audio files and use them in other apps then you would have to use an external program like Mp3Gain. But as stated, this will change the data of the file itself.
