Library Server troubles - need help.
« on: November 14, 2006, 01:32:50 pm »

I'm trying the library server functions for the first time. My files are in .flac and .ape on the server and I asked to convert them to vbr .mp3 for the remote client.

MC is connecting to the server and downloading cover art and all, but as soon as I try to play one, i get this:

"Please make sure the path in your media library points to the right location"

Any ideas?

Great,

12.0.113 fixed that problem. Things are working nicely.

Now, how can I save on my client machine a song from the remote server?

Thanks.

Anyone?

At the present time, is it possible to save a song on the client machine from the remote server?

Thanks in advance.

A client is read-only. It cannot save, edit, move, copy, burn etc.

Only the playcounts are updated, but not by the client. The server handles this task.

Thanks Alex B. for the reply.

Any idea if this something that is planned for the future?

Thanks.
