I have the latest 30GB model (A146 TXK Apple iPod Video (black), 30GB ) that's already listed as being in the database. I first set it up with iTunes and then used MC 12.113 to transfer some MP3's to it. On the iPod they are shown along with their cover art and when I hit play it thinks it's playing but the slider doesn't move and of course there is no audio.

I then used MC to initialize it and transfer some files. That had the same result.

My wife has the same model iPod too but she used MC 11 and everything worked fine for her.

Any ideas for mine?

EDIT: I tried MC 12.114 but the same thing happens.

Just to verify, iTunes does work so it's not the player or settings on it.

In Windows Explorer, I can find the MP3s on the iPod and they do work so the transfer of them worked correctly. Something in the iPod database?

We're temporarily removing our implementation of gapless playback in the next build because it is causing this and a host of other problems. Gapless playback will be back when we have a better understanding of how to implement it safely.
