It seems that over 50% of the posts on the "Portable Digital Players" board are for iPod products.  I own an iPod Nano and a Dell DJ30 so I personally read both the iPod and non-iPod posts.

However, I think having a separate board under Device Feedback for iPod will make it easier for new iPod owners to use the forum. (And there are plenty of them.)  Given the strong market share of the iPod, JRiver stands to get more business if iPod users looking for an iTunes alternative give MC a try.  If they see a separate iPod board they may be more inclined to do so.
