I just upgraded to MC 12.0.116. and cannot  play some internet streams.

The following streams give me "Media center was unable to play any of the files..Please make sure that the path in Media Library points to the right location and that the files are not being filtered by access control"

All the streams worked fine in MC11. I upgraded to mc12(without uninstalling 11 first).
The steams do not work on either version after unistall/reinstall of each.

I tried loading the CCCP without success. maybe i just configured it wrong.

Any help would be appreciated

i have same problem   but don't know to fix it    but the streams do play in real player  sorry i can't help you

Is this a know issue?? Is it being looked at?
 I am in the process of evaluating MC and MC12 is what we need. 
if this issue cannot be resolved soon for me we will have to go with another product and MC will loose 4 sales.

Please keep in mind that MC 12 is still in beta, so there will be a few speed bumps.

The video stream now works, but audio do not(same message)

That link works in WMP real, vlc and others.

The following does not work in MC either

The two audio streams are wma streams that MC is having trouble identifing as wma. We are currently working on a solution. As a workaround in the meantime, you can get them to play in MC  by adding a ".wma" to the URL.

Open File->Open URL, paste the url, than add .wma

NOTE: the .wma must go before the question mark (?) in the first link
(ie. ...reflector:33677.wma?media_type=....)

I still cannot play real streams ie

Another question(probably for another thread) but. I cannot change the video setting for windows media video streams(Brightness, Contrast). Am I missing something...
