Type functionality with onboard keypad in Theater mode?

I like the new search in theater view, but...

1. How do one get a space? Theres no button for it (At least not that i can see)

2. I would love if one could do some typing. How about making the search string field markable, and then you could type?

the _ between the 9 and the backspace is the space.

and it would indeed be nice if there would be a possebility to type.

it is nice though.
