I've found a couple of old threads here about Audioscrobbler support for Media Center 11. Some were about an Audioscrobbler plug-in which is not apparently available at this site. Others were about PlayingNow, which I just downloaded from this site, but the configuration files lack any information about AudioScrobbler, contrary to what the threads about it said.

I downloaded a plug-in from the last.fm site, but it doesn't work. I'm assuming this is because of our proxy here, and the odd, undocumented way the plug-in handles proxy servers. (Don't understand why it can't use Media Center's proxy settings, which work fine.)

The Last.fm application that you can download from there works fine- of course it only supports Windows Media Player and iTunes, which I won't use.

So, can anyone please tell me where to get audioscrobbler plug-ins for Media Center now? Was AudioScrobbler support dropped from PlayingNow, or is the version available from this site's plug-in gallery outdated? If that's the case, where do I find the new one?

probably because it's still in beta, coupled with the faintest of hints that it may become part of the default MC installation.

Yes, the plugin on the interface plugins page @ jriver is old, and does not support audioscrobbler. The latest and greatest playingnow plugin is available from here, and supports audioscrobbler submissions. However, it's not faultless, and I've a strong feeling it won't be receiving any TLC in the near or distant future, so, if it's only last.fm stuff you're interested in, your best bet is to check out the new "work in progress" plugin, currently in beta4 phase, and working very well atm.
