Playing music purchased from itunes
« on: November 27, 2006, 11:21:58 pm »

Cannot play music that I purchased from itunes. Had a hard drive failure and have not installed itunes or quick time yet. Went into options in Media Center and made sure that the type of file was supported but it still asks for Quick time player to be downloaded. Is there some way around this?   ?

Install iTunes And Quicktime.

I don't think installing Quicktime alone will do it (we talked about this In Sep\Oct).

KingSparta is right.

Music purchased from iTunes (m4p) can only be played in Quicktime engine. It will also require iTunes to authenticate your purchase before Quicktime engine can play it.
