Install Windows Media 6+ ?!?!?

I have MJ 8.0.399. When I try to stream some ASFs from my Media Server the client MJ pops up that darn "You must install Windows Media version 6" dialog. I have XP with Windows Media 9 installed on the client. Anyone know how I can convince MJ that my Windows Media is up-to-date?

it may be too upto date.

MJ was released before Windows Media 9 and that changed everything.

so i am not sure if it will work or not, i do know MC9 was made to work with Windows Media 9.
