File Name Bitrate?
« on: December 09, 2006, 04:49:37 pm »

I'm using Media Center 10.  When I rip CD's & create mp3's, I'd like to have the album name or the file name show the bit rate of the created file.  However, when I select [Bitrate] -- it always shows the bitrate of the source (my CD) (1440).  Help?

If It Does Not Work You Will Need To Do A Manual "Rename Files From Properties"

Since That Should Only Take Like 5 Seconds To Do It Does Not Seem Like Allot Of Work For The Work Around.

Or Try Something A Bit Newer Like MC12

If At That Point It Does Not Work Correctly Submit It As A Bug Report.

Installing MC12, then trying it, then potentially submitting as a big report, is a bit more than I'm willing to invest on spec.

Anyone know whether the [bitrate] filename function for MC12 works to show the bitrate of the target (i.e. created) file, rather than the source?

It Looks Like That Using The BitRate In The Default File Name Is Still Broken In MC12

It Should Have Been

Thanks for checking.  So, I'm hoping you'll report this as a bug, & re-post if/when they fix it.
