Help: USB stick messes up my CD drive
« on: December 16, 2006, 06:23:40 pm »

MC11 asked whether it should recognize a USB stick again, i clicked yes though I didn't notice that MC11 wanted to use the drive name for the CD drive: "D:"!!

The result after rebooting: I can't use my CD drive anymore: deinstall/reinstall won't work.

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) is the failure message.

Can anybody help?

Thank you! -jahn

Under handhelds in MC's setup, click redetect devices.  It will erase everything MC knows about devices.
