Changing the Import Date
« on: January 08, 2007, 06:39:07 pm »

Is there a way to change the "Import Date"?  I have figured out my issue with the DLink DSM-520 and it is the import date of my movies.  It appears that it sorts based on the date and not anything else I try.  I do not use that field at all so it would be nice to just remove the data for the moives.

Thanks for the help.

Yes and No

Sample:

File Imported Date: 1/8/2007 4:13 PM

Is saved Like this in Media Center

37622.500092592592

So It Can Be Changed Using The MC SDK Using A Programming Package Like "C" Or Visual Basic .Net And Visual Basic 6.0 (And I Prefer VB6)

So It Is Not A Simple Yes Or No Question.

What if I deleted my library and re-imported everyting?  Would that at least set everything to the same date?

Thanks for the help.  I just hate the way the DSM-520 sorts the video.
