Not again! (I'm sorry) Album Artist - iPod sync?
« on: January 29, 2007, 10:27:44 am »

I'm having a hard time keeping track.  It's in, it's not in...

Does MC12 allow me to sync "album artist" instead of "artist"?

I know (and use) the workarounds, but this is the one issue that will get me to upgrade immediately.

Thanks (and sorry for bringing it up...again.)

No it doesn't, there's a link below to a guy explaining to himself why not. :)

MC12 does support compilations.  They work the same way in MC as it does when you use iTunes except MC handles things more automatically.  MC12 can determine if it is a compilation based on having an album with multiple artists that is stored in a single folder.

If your issue is too many artists to scroll through, creating all kinds of clutter, you may want to try the compilations.
