Do you have the "Restrict Encoder to constant bitrate" checked?
I double checked, I have the same settings as you (I don't have the "Restrict..." box checked).
Try some different encoder settings.
If that doesn't work, I'd try a complete un-install and re-install.
I'm puzzled...

What do the two bold lines mean in the above status log?? I ask, because those lines do not show up in MC 11, when playing the same APE file, and identical convertion settings.
