Few questions, suggestions:

1) When in fullscreen video mode from the detached player, the bar doesn't appear when the mouse is moved to the top.  Is this intended?  I almost think it should appear but then again, I like having the option to forcefully hide it, by using this play method.

2) What about adding the VLC-like skip features: ctrl + arrow left/right skips forward or back 1 minute, alt + arrow skips 10 seconds, shift + arrow ships 3 seconds.

This is by design.  Use "Display View" to have controls on the border.

Ctrl+Shift+Arrows does jump ahead and back. (30 seconds forward, 10 seconds back for TV and DVD -- just right for skipping commercials)
