Here are some interesting photos of our recent ice storm. It left us without power for 7 hours. It left the kids without school for two days! Plus an early dismissal! (Two separate storms close together)
Just look at that ice! It was really bad as the rain just kept freezing on top of older ice, thickening the total ice layer.
Later, we experienced more snow and lots of wind. Here's a nice drift in front of our house. My garage had a huge drift, too.
The reason for the drifts! Blowing snow! Visibilities near zero.
Good thing we have a blade (plow). Reflectors are a must, too.
Trying to clear the trampoline so it doesn't break. Any ideas on how trampolines hold up in winter with ice and snow? I'm guessing its dangerous to be on them but heavy ice and snow might be worse than taking the time to clean them off.
