Dithering to 16/44 when burning CDs
« on: March 08, 2007, 12:10:22 pm »

Can someone post info on the DSP dithering to 16/44 when burning 24/96 audio material. I didn't realize MC could do this so I am planning on leaving some of my vinyl rips alone at 24/96 and burning discs when I need them.

I was manually adding dither with Waves L2 in Wavelab and I am just generally curious about MC does this, or if anyone is doing the same.

MC has a very high-quality audio converter built into its audio engine.  You should be able to throw most sample rates, bitdepths, etc. at the burner and get great results.

Thanks for responding Matt. MC & MAC are the perfect pair. I plan on burning some CDs this weekend.
