How to save tags from extracted DVD
« on: March 09, 2007, 02:16:32 am »

I will have to rename some of my HD's with extracted movies. (from M to J etc.) and will lose my tags this way.

How can I save the tags so that when renaming HD's or copying movies the tags will still be there?
I have tags like actors, directors, genre, season, episode.

Thanks for any ideas...

Regards,

Rename the HDD.
Select the library entry and use "Find and Replace" on the name  e.g. M:\ to J:\
As usual, do a few test ones first to make sure your on the right track.

But make sure the drives are either offline or already have their new names. If not MC will try to move the files, and you don't want that.
