Gapless on Ipod... I'm lost
« on: March 09, 2007, 11:03:57 am »

Ok, I have been seeing a lot of post that are floating around that says that MC can do gapless on Ipod's.

I have read all I can find, and still cannot figure this out... Am I a Snapperhead or something? (Do not answer that...  8) )

I have a 1st gen Photo and the latest MC12.
Is there options that I have to select?

Does the iPod have an option for gapless playback?

I think that the MP3 files need to be encoded with Lame.

The option is in the actual Ipod itself? I'll take a look.

Anybody know if the option is on all Ipods?

I wish I could help more with this.  You could read Swellguy's posts.  You may have to initialize and re-sync.

Well it looks like I may need a new ipod...

2nd generation iPod nano and all video-capable iPods running the latest firmware support gapless playback.
