vis won't plugin on v8

Downloaded v8 and when installing visualisation plugins I keep getting an error message that MJ will not play Winamp visualisation files.

Does this mean v8 does not support v7 plugins? I note that plug-in versions mention v7.

That's correct. MJ8 no longer supports Winamp visualization plugins. On the download page, if it doesn't say for MJ8, then it won't work.
