Restore Problem
« on: October 08, 2003, 08:51:04 am »

I have two questions:

1) I purchased MJ 8 about 2 months ago.  At the time I did not know MJ 9  was out.  Is it possible to get an upgrade?

2) I downloaded the trial version of MJ 9, now the trial period has run out and I can't restore my MJ 8.  It says I need to upgrade to a newer version of MJ 8.  I have used 5 of my restores trying to get my MJ 8 program back.  Now neither MJ 8 or MJ 9 work.

Please help ASAP.

The upgrade is about $20.

Update MJ8 and the problem should be solved.

you need to uninstall MC9 And MJ8 then install MJ8 and reimport.

that message yur getting is because the database has been converted to a new format for MC9

it would be better to upgrade since MC9 has more options. I am sure the support for MJ8 will be shrinking now that J river will be moving on now to MC10 or what ever is next.
