Whenever I leave MJ playing in the background my computer completely freezes up after about 10 minutes. I cannot do anything to get windows back other than hit the reset button. Ctrl+Alt+Del does nothing (a first for me with XP) I play mostly ogg vorbis files but it also happens when I play mp3s. My system information is as follows...

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program but the same thing happens. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Does the music halt due to buffering, then freeze the application? Are you streaming over a network or are music files hosted on the same computer as playback? I have seen buffering (temporary halting of music) followed by total freeze of app (not OS).

No it halts durring playback not when it is buffering and it does freeze up the OS not just the app. I am not streaming and I am playing the files off of my hard drive. There is no networking involved.
