Mark,
I thought we ought to have a board for topics related to good music, movies, TV, and so on.  So I moved some of your posts.  If you want to do something else, please feel free.

And thanks for tossing these out from time to time.  I always enjoy them.

Nice picture.  I also played trumpet and French Horn in junior high and high school.  I have a picture somewhere of my junior high band on the stage behind Richard Millhouse Nixon when he came to Lincoln, Nebraska as vice president.  Zero security.

Nah, King, you look like a high school student. My pictures from high school, now they are dorky...

I played in band, and played for a president/vice president (I forget which), and there was security: they wanted to pull the heads off of all the drums to check for weapons inside :)

Geeeeee

All the trumpet players.

I also played trumpet and was in the band.

Hated marching on the streets in Pgh., because of the streetcar tracks.

Loved doing school concerts, especially "The Sound of Music".

My mom, when I was a kid, bought me a new one

and I still have it after all these years.

Thanks King, I'm glad you like it. You're not getting a photo from my schooldays though :-)
