Granularity on the MCC: NOTIFY_EQ_CHANGED event too low
« on: May 02, 2007, 05:06:48 pm »

Hi,

I've just implemented the Presets into my plugin but I've got a problem with the MCC: NOTIFY_EQ_CHANGED Event. As reported earlier it fires all too often. Any change in the DSP Equalizer fires an Event. There is no way to distinquish what kind of EQ Event is being fired. F.i. I would like to be able to react to the changes in the Presets. When a Preset is added I need to refresh my Presets as well. Since there is no granularity in the Event my presets get refreshed 100 of times which shows in the display (little flickering). And is, to speak with Monty Python, a complete waste of time.

I would like to make a request to use the third parameter to give more granularity to the MCC: NOTIFY_EQ_CHANGED Event.

Paul.
