I tried the exact test Alex listed. (same names, OS set to Finnish)

I get the correct results with MC (and the OS).

We're scratching our heads.  As a test, please erase this folder in case the cache is the problem:
C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Application Data\J River\Cache

Now I have erased the Cache data, and now the sorting works perfect.
Is it O.K. that this data is gone away?
