Help Needed!

I posted this a couple of days ago, but nobody has replied.  I'm reposting because I still haven't resolved the problem.

All of the sudden, my registered version of MJ 8.0.X started barfing out a "Failed to initialize Registration control." dialog box. The program never starts, so I have no way of getting the exact version number. I check for upgrades every week or so, so I'm pretty up-to-date.

The only thing I have done to the PC I have running MJ is to install Quicken a few days ago. It is a Windows 2000 box.

A quick search of the forum shows others have had this problem in the past. However, I see no references to this problem since May. The proposed solution in those posts was to uninstall, reboot, and reinstall. This does not fix my problem. I have even tried to scrub my Windows registry of all "JRiver" entries. No luck.

I purchased MJ on 7/9/2002, so my original license is an version 8 license.

Any help would be appreciated.

You must install for the user you're running as.

Please us a subject that describes the problem.  If you don't get an answer, just reply to your own thread (saying "bump", for example) to get it to come to the top.

Make sure you have the latest version.  If it is 8.0, what license are you using?  See the FAQ for details.
