Enc_Wavpack v2.0.0 Released
« on: June 15, 2007, 10:27:55 pm »

I've posted the first version (2.0.0 to match the version numbers of the other plugins) of the Wavpack encoder plugin for MC12 on the mcplugins sourcforge page at http://mcplugins.sourceforge.net

Encoder plugins are for ripping and conversions only.

There may be some problems with 96kHz files.

It's not that I didn't look to see if it was possible, it's that Licensing is still required, even if you use the open source libraries.

Thanks!

However, the new Wavpack plugins may have some problems. Please check my post in the "Decoder releases" thread: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=41125.msg280715#msg280715

Actually, only an MP4 tagger plugin would be essentially needed. Though, I don't know if MC's plug-in interface provides any possibility to only tag files if the actual decoding is handled by Direct Show filters.

MC's External Encoder plugin can already use the free Nero command line AAC-MP4 encoder without tagging support. (I have posted instructions for this in a forum thread some months ago.)

Yes Alex I agree.

It would be cool to create an input plugin with tagging support and playback.
