For the first time i'am listening to Yahoo! radio.Alternative country play list.
The playlist his first class, kind of a mp3 cd you may do if you like this kind of music.
Every 6 or 7 songs you get a message about built your own radio station. But until now ,no commercial and no pop-up when surfing the weeb
You can see the last songs played and get bio-download and more .
You get the sleeve of the album for each song played
You can skip a song or choose to have a song never played again
There is a link to find lyrics, another to buy the cd.
The stream use Windowsplayer, but the interface is in a pop-up that you can minimise to the toolbars .Free ,but you have to registered to Yahoo!
The selection is really top.The same quality than on Spinner.

Look like i tend to be a Yahoo! head.....

Hey thanks for the tip, Zevele.
I think the alt country station is new; I've been to yahoo radio before and didn't notice it.
If you like alt country, try Sirius Satellite Radio; it's free over the Web. Click on country, and it's a sub-genre.
It's here

I'm not at my home computer to check, but I'm pretty sure I was unable to bookmark Sirius so that MJ could launch it.
I've bookmarked lots of things I didn't think would work (I can listen to the Red Sox -- please, MJers, no smart remarks about why I would want to -- via my MLB.com subscription without ever logging in) but Sirius wasn't one of them.
I'll check tonight.
